The free music platform Jamendo announced the Jamendo Awards 2011. The contest works by nominations, which can be done one time per day by the members of the community. The best five of seven categories will be the finalists, which probably come by the amount of nominations (for more information have a look at the website). After the nomination phase up to the 10th july members are able to vote from 11th to 15th of july one time in each category for their favorite artists. Jamendo by the way is a music community designed like a social network offering a lot of free music to be downloaded or integrated into websites by a provided web player.
