Traexs.com has been expanded to include a section with AI music software, and it was about time. While AI is already being used in many places today, and it was therefore to be expected that services already included in the directory would integrate artificial intelligence, it’s always specialized AI startups that launch particularly interesting services. And I have to say, after some testing and networking events where AI tools were presented, I’m impressed.
I’ve particularly taken a close look at AI music generators and even tested some of them. After creating my first electronic melody about two or three years ago, I’ve now taken a look at the more advanced services. And what happened: It was actually possible to create a song worth listening to with just a few words and genre selections. Moreover, there are already a number of music generators that specialize in various genres. This makes sense because the electronic genre certainly has completely different requirements than more traditional genres. For example, whereas in traditional genres you’re looking to simulate instruments, samples and loops need to be generated and arranged in the electronic music genre.
There is a whole bunch of further particular interesting and most useful AI tools that generate or clone vocals, automate mastering using AI, or offer new approaches to music catalogs. Music catalogs e.g. allow you to select music for specific purposes or enable DJs to find the right tracks for a particular moment from a wide range of tracks more easily.
